Notify IndexNow-compatible search engines when your catalog URLs change. The submission communicates the update; the search engine decides when to crawl and index it.

What it actually does

IndexNow Connect communicates new, updated and deleted site URLs. This lets you notify participating search engines of relevant catalog changes.

Available for Tiendanube. We integrate site change submissions to IndexNow without touching your store's code.

Submission tracking. The date and response record lets you verify that the notification was received. Confirming indexing requires an additional check.

A URL received through IndexNow is not the same as an indexed URL. The protocol does not guarantee rankings or appearances in AI responses.

What happens when your catalog changes

You publish a product, edit a listing or take a URL down. From that moment, search engines can find out in two ways.

With IndexNow Connect

The search engine is notified as soon as the change happens.

It can consider the URL for its index without waiting for its next crawl.

The submission date and the response received are recorded.

Without IndexNow

The change waits for the search engine to crawl your site on its own.

You do not control when that visit happens or how long it takes.

Another site that did notify may reach the index first.

There is no guarantee, which is why notifying matters

No notification ensures that a URL is indexed, nor does it guarantee rankings or appearances in AI responses. But a change that goes unannounced is left to whenever the search engine comes back. With IndexNow Connect, what is within your reach is done: notifying it in time so it considers the URL for its index.
